Hopebotics Stuns at Hong Kong Medical Expo with Brain-Controlled Rehabilitation System, Setting New Standards with Three Smart Products

Hong Kong, May 26, 2025 — At the "International Medical and Healthcare Exhibition" hosted by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), pioneering smart rehabilitation technology company Hopebotics made a strong debut, showcasing three groundbreaking products: the HandTasker Robotic Hand, XoMuscle Intelligent Muscle Trainer, and the globally launched XoBrace Soft Inflatable Joint Support. These innovations redefine neurorehabilitation therapy with cutting-edge Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) technology.

Breakthrough in Mind Control: BCI Technology Enables Precision Rehabilitation

Hopebotics demonstrated its revolutionary BCI system:

  • HandTasker Robotic Hand: By interpreting electroencephalography (EEG) signals, stroke patients can drive the robotic hand to perform fine motor training simply by "imagining movements."

  • XoMuscle Intelligent Trainer: Extends BCI applications to upper and lower limb rehabilitation, synchronizing brainwave signals with electrical stimulation to activate targeted muscle groups.

"Our system establishes a direct neural feedback loop," explained Hopebotics' Chief Technology Officer during the live demonstration. "When patients attempt to imagine a movement, the device immediately provides corresponding muscle stimulation. This real-time feedback significantly accelerates neuroplasticity."

Global Launch of XoBrace: Smart Airbag Technology Redefines Joint Rehabilitation

On the first day of the exhibition, Hopebotics held a major product launch, officially introducing the XoBrace Soft Inflatable Joint Support:

  • Clinical Applications: Provides dynamic knee joint support for stroke patients and children with cerebral palsy, improving standing and walking abilities.

  • Lifestyle Applications: The innovative airbag design offers joint protection for healthy individuals during physical activities, reducing knee impact.

Building a Smart Rehabilitation Ecosystem

The CEO of Hopebotics stated, "From hands to lower limbs, we are creating a comprehensive smart rehabilitation solution. By integrating BCI technology with AI algorithms, every rehabilitation session becomes a data-driven, precision therapy."
