On July 25, 2025, Hopebotics was honored to be invited by Legislative Councillor Mr. Vincent Lam, District Councillor Mr. Raymond Lee, and Chairman Mr. Tam Chi Chung to participate in a community technology sharing session held at West Kowloon Centre.
During the event, our team introduced Handtasker, a pneumatically-driven soft robotic glove designed to support stroke rehabilitation. Integrating soft robotics, pneumatic actuation, Handtasker helps stroke survivors perform hand function training more comfortably and effectively, enabling them to regain independence in daily life.
In a rapidly aging society, how we support our elderly to live with dignity and peace of mind has always been a central mission of Hopebotics. We believe technology should serve people with warmth and purpose. The development of Handtasker is rooted in deep user understanding and long-term engagement with stroke patients and caregivers.
While the product has received multiple recognitions in innovation competitions and exhibitions, for us, awards are merely icing on the cake. What truly matters is making a tangible difference—bringing practical solutions to communities and homes, and helping individuals on their journey of recovery.
We sincerely thank all the residents who attended, and our community partners and councillors who have consistently supported the advancement of local rehabilitation technology. Hopebotics will continue to uphold the belief that “technology should be human-centered,” and work toward building a safer, more inclusive, and compassionate future for our aging population.
