On January 10, 2025, the Greater Bay Area (Shenzhen) Business Summit and Exchange Conference, jointly organized by the Federation of Hong Kong Industries, the Pearl River Delta Industry Association, the Hong Kong Productivity Council, and the Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute, was successfully held in Shenzhen. The event attracted leading enterprises, innovative institutions, and industry experts from within and outside the Greater Bay Area, aiming to deepen cooperation and exchanges among enterprises in the region and promote high-quality economic development.
On the day of the event, Mr. John Lee Ka-chiu, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and Mr. Meng Fanli, Secretary of the Shenzhen Municipal Committee, delivered speeches emphasizing the enormous potential for innovation and collaboration in the Greater Bay Area as one of the most dynamic economic zones globally. They expressed hopes that this event would further strengthen the complementary advantages of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, building an open, innovative, and win-win business ecosystem.
